A small and cosy vessel with a nice atmosphere for max. 18 passengers. The barge has been partially refurbished and modernized in winter 2012-13. The nice vessel has 9 cabins in two categories: 5 cabins of type A with two single beds (next to each other) and 4 cabins type B with bunk beds (1 single bed above the other).
All cabins have a private, en suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. The salon with large windows and a small bar is also your breakfast room and restaurant. The sundeck offers chairs and tables to relax, as well as space to store bicycles. Since many years, the Peter van Aemstel is a beloved barge for cycling cruises in Holland.

Hair dryers are available on board. There is limited storage space in the cabin. We recommend 1 suitcase per person. You can slide the suitcase under the bed.
The Peter van Aemstel is a former shuttle boat, which was converted into a motor passenger ship in the winter of 1994-1995. The sailing area includes all Dutch, German and Belgian Waterways, among which, the IJselmeer, the Dutch Waddenzee and the Zeeland streams. Concerning security, the Peter van Aemstel is completely built according to the criterion of the Shipping Inspectorate and also possesses a valid Rhine certificate.
The Peter van Aemstel is a former shuttle barge which was converted into a luxury motor passenger ship in the winter of 1994-95.
It has a cozy salon. In the evenings, a drink can be consumed in the cozy and elegant bar. Outside there is a sun deck/a deck for the bicycles. The crew consists of a skipper, a cook and a sailor/hostess. There is limited WiFi on board.
